Airstrikes Expand Across Eastern Kurdistan as Multiple Security Installations Reportedly Hit

A new wave of air and missile strikes has reportedly targeted numerous security and military installations belonging to the Islamic Republic across Eastern Kurdistan, according to local sources and materials received by Ta Azadi.

The attacks, attributed in multiple field reports to the United States and Israel, struck facilities associated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), law-enforcement forces, intelligence agencies, and administrative structures in several cities including Saqqez, Sanandaj, Bukan, and Marivan, as well as other locations across the region.

Saqqez: Police Command Targeted by Missile Strike

According to local sources, at approximately 20:15 on March 4, the Law Enforcement Command headquarters in Saqqez, located near Shafa Hospital, was struck by four missiles.

Reports indicate that multiple IRGC and police facilities across the city were targeted during the same wave of attacks.

Additional reports from Tuesday evening state that Police Station No. 12, the Public Security Police office, and the Cyber Police (FATA) unit, located opposite Laleh Park, as well as the Baharestan Cultural and Sports Center in the Baharestan neighborhood, were also hit.
Local sources claim that IRGC personnel had been stationed at some of these facilities.

Bukan: Explosion at Governor’s Office

In Bukan, reports describe a large explosion around 20:00 on March 4 at the city governor’s office building.

According to information received by Ta Azadi, the blast was described by witnesses as extremely powerful. Some local reports claim that several bodies recovered from the site were severely burned or fragmented.

Witnesses say security personnel prevented residents from filming the scene and reportedly threatened individuals holding mobile phones with arrest on accusations of espionage.

Marivan: IRGC Installations Under Missile Fire

Local reports indicate that IRGC military sites in Marivan were struck by missile attacks during the latest phase of the strikes.

Earlier reports also mentioned attacks on Ramadan Headquarters and Basij bases in the city, though independent confirmation remains limited.

Heavy strikes were also reported in Sanandaj, where witnesses described intense bombardment targeting several IRGC facilities.

According to local sources, more than 11 missiles reportedly struck the Imam Ali base in the Dushan area during attacks around 09:30.

Residents in neighborhoods including Shahid Ghazi, Dushan, and Saadi Township reported that the explosions shattered windows in surrounding residential buildings.

Separately, reports indicate that the state broadcasting complex in Sanandaj was also struck. The force of the explosion reportedly broke windows in nearby homes in the Jam-e Jam neighborhood.
